Shaina Magdayao Has Learned How To Forgive & Forget, Gets To Work Anew With Ex-Bf John Lloyd Cruz

SHAINA MAGDAYAO agreed to the addition of John Lloyd Cruz in her ABS-CBN soap, "Nathaniel". Obviously, she has moved on and it's now let bygones be bygones for her. It'll be recalled that Shaina was so hurt when Lloydie suddenly dumped her in 2012 and hooked up with Angelica Panganiban.

We remember that she even went by herself to Europe then to do some soul-searching and also to nurse her broken heart. The fact that she is now willing to work with him anew means she has learned to forgive and forget.

It's good Lloydie is now willling to do a soap again. He was earlier offered to do "Bridges of Love" but he rejected it so the project went to Jericho Rosales. We heard Lloydie has instead asked to do several episodes of "Maalaala Mo Kaya". ABS-CBN management was willing to give him four episodes straight, but he opted to do it every other week.

His "MMK" stint started last Saturday reuniting him with his "Tabing Ilog" leading lady, Kaye Abad. Let's see if he'd be able to tape another episode soon. Lloydie really has to move fast to resuscitate his career. He was being offered to do a new movie with Sarah Geronimo but he chose to do the action-drama "Conman", directed by Erik Matti. He must have thought it would be a prestige project like Matti's "On the Job" that was exhibited in the Cannes Filmfest and subsequently won many best actor awards for its lead actor, Joel Torre.

Unfortunately, "Conman" was not accepted for inclusion at the Cannes Filmfest last May. It was also entered in the annual December filmfest but, sadly, the Metro-Manila Filmfest screening committee also didn't like it and rejected it. Needless to say, such rejections do not augur well for the movie. Dingdong Dantes, to whom the project was offered first and felt hurt when he was suddenly replaced by Lloydie, must now be having the last laugh.
