Alessandra De Rossi Doesn't Believe That Renz Fernandez Really Has A Crush On Her

ALESSANDRA DE ROSSI can very well be considered as the Queen of Indie Films. She recently won best actress awards for indie flicks "Mauban, Ang Resiko" as a winemaker in Quezon fighting for survival and "Bambanti (Scarecrow)" as the mother of young boy accused of stealing some jewelry. She also got raves for her short role as a broken hearted bus passenger in "Relaks, It's Just Pag-ibig" and as the young Dionisia Pacquiao in "Kid Kulafu".

On TV, she just won the Golden Screen best supporting actress award for "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real" and she's now getting good reviews once again for her role as the contravida, Lulu, in "Yagit". This year, she's also slated to do a movie with critics darling, Lav Diaz, to be filmed on location in Sorsogon and she also has three new offers to do film entries for Cinema One and other film festivals, including a mainstream entry in the Metro-Manila Filmfest. The filmfest entry is "Hermano Puli", a historical drama with Aljur Abrenica in the title role. This will be directed by Gil Portes, who directed Alessandra in one of her most important films, the much acclaimed "Mga Munting Tinig".

When we talked to Alessandra on the set of "Yagit" recently, Renz Fernandez told us to tell her that he has a big crush on her. When we told this Alessandra, her reply was: "Sabihin mo, hindi siya credible. Ang dami na niyang pinagsabihan ng ganyan, e. Kung totoo yan, bakit hindi siya mismo ang magsabi sa akin?"

This week in "Yagit", Alessandra as Lulu is supposed to be jailed but she stabs herself to prevent from going inside the prison. She ends up in the hospital instead. Her sister, Princess Punzalan as Millie, promises to help her to get back Chlaui Malayao as Elisa. Millie also tries to mess up the lives of James Blanco as Victor and Yasmien Kurdi as Dolores when she becomes the lawyer of Raquel Villavicencio as Donya Claudia who is so mad when the case she filed against Bettina Carlos as Izel did not prosper in court.
