    GMA Network Kapuso Stars Win Acting Awards At Urian Awards Held At ABS-CBN

    CONGRATULATIONS to GMA-7 as their stars won top acting awards in the recent Urian Awards. And to think that the Urian Awards Night was held at ABS-CBN and aired on their cable channel, Cinema One.

    Eula Valdes of "The Half Sisters" won best actress for her portrayal of a professor accused of having an affair with her student in "Dagitab".

    Gladys Reyes of "Let the Love Begin" won best supporting actress as the mother who left her ill-fated daughter to marry an American in "Magkakabaung".

    Martin del Rosario of the coming new soap "Buena Familia" won as the student having an identity crisis in "Dagitab".

    The best actor award went to Allen Dizon as the title-roler in "Magkakabaung". This is his 7th best actor award for the same movie. He's now in the cast of a new soap at ABS-CBN.
