GMA-7 Launches Search For A New Boy Band In 'To The Top' Hosted By Julian Trono

GMA NETWORK IS all set to launch the country’s first-ever multi-platform program in search for today’s newest boy band – "To the Top." Produced by GMA Public Affairs, To the Top is initially available online beginning today, Saturday, June 13, viawww.gmanetwork.com/gma/tothetop. Serving as host of the program’s webisodes is Kapuso homegrown artist Julian Trono, who recently underwent a rigorous training under the Kpop system. Unlike other reality programs which held open auditions, To The Top scoured the country and invited the best male vocals from different schools and organizations to join the auditions. From their auditions to determining the finalists.

To The Top documents the journey of these young men from being solo artists or being members of their respective singing groups to ultimately becoming part of the country’s newest boy band. Guiding them are Moy Ortiz, OJ Mariano and Sweet Plantado of the premier vocal ensemble The Company; Madelle and Prince Paltu-Ob, alumni of world-renowned dance group Philippine All Stars; and award-winning music producer Jonathan Ong and his team. Catch the first stages of To The Top beginning June 13, 3pm, via www.gmanetwork.com/gma/tothetop. The competition proper will start airing on GMA Network mid-July 2015.
