PARAS and Ai Ai de las Alas will be do a cross-over guest appearance in their respective shows. Ai Ai will hop over to “The Half Sisters” while Andre will guest in “Let the Love Begin”. The episodes they appear in will start showing tomorrow. Andre admits he got tongue tied when he saw Ai Ai in person.
“I wanted to say how are you po, I can’t wait to work with you,” he says. “Pero ang nasabi ko lang was ‘hi’. I really her admire her kapag nagpapatawa siya on TV and I know Comedy Queen siya, kaya na-star struck ako when, finally, makaharap ko siya in person. Actually, short scene lang ang kinunan between us. She plays DJ Jeni at kunwari, yung character that I play, si Bradley, guest niya sa radio show niya. I will announce sa show niya na love ko si Barbie Forteza as Diana after we had a falling out and I will ask for another chance. Buti na lang, she’s so nice and made me feel comfortable, kaya nag-enjoy ako acting with her. I’m really honored na nakatrabaho ko siya. Sana masundan pa ang pagtatrabaho namin ng isang mas mahabang eksena.”
Andre is also happy that his younger brother Kobe was in the country for a very short visit during the weekend. “He was here on his way to Hungary to train for the coming FIBA 3x3 U18 World Championships. Umalis din siya agad yesterday (Monday) at bumisita lang sa amin. I’m so proud of my brother for his success in the field of sports. Ako naman, naiwan dito para mag-showbiz.”
Andre will soon be launched by Viva to stardom in a movie opposite Yassi Pressman. Honestly, we believe a movie starring Andre with “Half Sisters” co-stars Barbie Forteza, Thea Tolentino and Derrick Monasterio will have better chances of making it at the box office since they already a huge fan following because of their exposure in the hit afternoon soap that's been on the air for over a year now.
