Miguel Tanfeliz Took Advantage Of The Long Lenten Weekend In La Union To Take A Break From Taping 'Once Upon A Kiss'

MIGUEL TANFELIX took time out from work during the last long Lenten weekend. Since there's no taping for "Once Upon a Kiss", he went to La Union for rest and relaxation. "I tried to learn how to surf," he says. "I've tried wakeboarding. E, mahilig talaga ako sa tubig, so surfing naman ang sinubukan ko. It was a lot of fun. I also did a lot of swimming and snorkeling. Ang hilig ko sa tubig started when I was a little boy and our family went island hopping. Very memorable sa akin yun."

But although he's a certified water baby, his ambition is actually to be up in the air and be a pilot. "Now that I've finished high school, gusto ko talaga magpatuloy sa college. I might go to an aviation school or take up engineering. Pinag-iisipan ko pang mabuti. Basta I want my parents to be proud of me, kaya kahit mahirapan ako, pipilitin ko pa ring mapagsabay ang pag-aartista ko at ang pagkuha ng college course. Idol ko si Kuya Dingdong Dantes na nakatapos ng college kahit busy na sa pag-aartista. It's just a matter of balancing your time properly para mapagsabay mo sila."


This week in "Once Upon a Kiss", Miguel as Prince is ordered by his mom Mylene Dizon as Giselle to stay away from Bianca Umali as Ella because he will surely only get hurt if Ella would die from her brain tumor. Ella's mom, Manilyn Reynes as Aurora, is trying her best to collect enough money needed for Ella's brain surgery. Ella and Prince join a debate in their school where the prize is P5,000. If they'd win, it'd be a big help for her operation. But on the day of the debate, Ella gets dizzy and throws up, soiling her own dress. They nearly backed out of the competition but Prince says he volunteers to continue as leader of their debating team. He talks about the need to fight in order to survive to inspire Ella. Their team wins, but he gets so sad and worried when he learns that Ella has been rushed again to the hospital and has to undergo surgery as soon as possible.
