Miguel Tanfelix & Bianca Umali On The Competition They Face From Ruru Madrid & Gabbi Garcia

MIGUEL TANFELIX and Bianca Umali both won’t reveal whether the ending of “Once Upon a Kiss” tonight will be a happy or a sad one. As we all know, their last show, “Nino”, ended sadly because the character played by Miguel died. This time, it’s Bianca as Ella who’s sick with brain tumor and Miguel as Prince figures in an accident caused be his own mom, Mylene Dizon as Giselle. Mylene attacks Bianca while they’re on a yacht and they both fell into the weather. Miguel tries to save them, nearly drowns, and ends up unconscious in the hospital, making Mylene so remorseful.

“We don’t want naman to spoil the viewing pleasure of our fans na nag-aabang sa conclusion ng show,” says Bianca. “So abangan na lang nila.”

“Ganito na lang,” says Miguel. “Mayroong epilogue ang show. Ipapakita what happens to all the characters after three years. Doon nyo malalaman ang nangyari sa aming lahat.”

Will they miss each other? “Actually, hindi naman, kasi magkikita pa rin kami sa ‘Sunday All Stars’ at sa ‘Ismol Family’,” says Bianca.

“What we are preparing for now is yung pagbabalik namin in school sa June,” says Miguel. “Dahil I finished high school na, I will be in college. I want to take up engineering sana or entrepreneurship, but the problem is hindi ako nakakuha ng entrance exams sa alinmang college. The suggestion of my manager is to try UP Open University.”

“Ako naman, I will be in third year high school sa Veritas Parochial School in BF Paranaque,” says Bianca. “Ako, mami-miss ko sina Tita Nova Villa and Manilyn Reynes who play my lola and my mom in the show, also si Direk Joyce Bernal na napaka-cool na director.”

What can they say now that their show will be replaced by “Let the Love Begin” that introduces another teen love team, Ruru Madrid and Gabbi Garcia? “Wala namang competition sa amin kasi friends kami lahat sa ‘Sunday All Stars’,” says Bianca. “We’re really happy for them at sana mag-rate din ang show nila.”
“Yes, we’re praying for their success,” says Miguel. “Kami ni Ruru, pinagtatapat kami, but personally, I don’t feel any rivalry kasi parang magkapatid kami. Pareho kaming si Direk Maryo ang manager so we support each other.”
