Gina Alajar Resigns From 'Yagit' To Direct 'Let The Love Begin'

GINA ALAJAR has to leave the hit afternoon soap, “Yagit”, as a director as she’s been assigned to direct the new primetime soap, “Let the Love Begin” starring Ai Ai de las Alas, Ruru Madrid and Gabbi Garcia.

“Nakakalungkot din kasi ako ang nagpasimula sa ‘Yagit’ at naging maganda talaga ang samahan namin ng buong cast, from the kiddie stars who play the yagit to the adult members ng cast,” she says. “But then, I was assigned by my management to handle ‘Let the Love Begin’ that will be the first soap of Ai Ai sa paglipat niya uli sa GMA and that will launch the Ruru-Gabbi love team, so wala akong choice kundi iwanan sila. ‘Let the Love Begin’ will start airing on May 4 to replace ‘Once Upon a Kiss’ that ends on May 1.”

“Yagit” is now being directed by Don Michael Perez. This week, Yasmien Kurdi as Dolores continues to search for her missing daughter, Chlaui Malayao as Elisa, who was kidnapped by Alessandra de Rossi as Lulu. Yasmien sees Chlaui in Alessandra’s car but she was not able to run after them. James Blanco as Victor is having a business venture with Alessandra, without knowing she’s the one who kidnapped his daughter Chlaui who is being held captive by Lulu with the blind Bea Binene as Jam.
