Alessandra De Rossi Added To 'Yagit' Cast, Shines As The Young Mommy Dionisio Pacquiao In Pacman Biopic, 'Kid Kulafu'

DE ROSSI, who has just called it quits with Sid Lucero, has been added to the cast of GMA-7's afternoon hit soap, "Yagit". She plays the role of Lulu, a woman looking for her missing daughter, Chelsea, who she finds in the person of Yasmien Kurdi's daughter, Chalu Malayao as Elisa. Alex is fresh from winning the best actress award in the recent unheralded Sinag Maynila Filmfest for the movie "Bambanti" where she played the role of a provinciana mom who's young son is accused of being a thief. She has also just finished a new film, "Kid Kulafu", a Pacman biopic where her performance as the young Mommy Dionisia (with Buboy Villar as the young Manny Pacquiao) is said to be another award-calibre portrayal. It's slated to be shown on April 15 in time for Pacquiao's fight with Mayweather.

Another addition to the cast of "Yagit" is Rafa Siguion Reyna as Baldo, a member of the syndicate that fields street kids as beggars. When Alessandra tries to get Elisa, convinced that the girl is her missing daughter, Alessandra tells Rafa that she is willing to adopt Elisa.

Elisa remains missing and her dad, James Blanco as Victor and the cop Renz Fernandez as Roman continue to look for her. James has no inkling that his wife Bettina Carlos as Izel continues to rob him of his wealth which she transfers to her own bank account. LJ Reyes as Flora, in turn, gets jealous when her man, Wowie de Guzman as Chito, visit Yasmien Kurdi as Dolores. Meantime, Kiko Estrada as Pipo and Bea Binene as the blind girl Jam continue to miss each other after they've been separated.
