Why A Lot Of Writers Admire Coco Martin On And Off Cam

A LOT OF writers express their admiration for Coco Martin for being a responsible family man and good breadwinner for his parents and siblings. He gathered all of them in the enormous mansion he has built in a huge compound in Fairview and he now plans to put up a business for all of them to make their future more secure. “Ayoko kasing mamroblema pa sila pagdating ng araw. But some folks say this can be dangerous. “Coco should make his relatives learn how to earn a living for themselves,” they say. “Hindi yung basta aasa na lang sa kanya.” Coco admits that of the three siblings he’s sending to college, only one got to finish his degree while the other did not. “Sayang nga, e. But no doubt his generosity is the reason why he is so blessed. He’s now currently in a new TV show that starts airing tomorrow, “Yasmishita’s Treasures” on “Wansapanataym” with Julia Montes, and in a new movie, “You’re My Boss” with Toni Gonzaga, helmed by Antoinette Jadaone who got noticed for helming the surprise hit, “That Thing Called Tadhana” and writing the surprise Metro Filmfest hit, “English Only, Please”. He says he hardly has time to rest. “Halos hindi na nga ako natutulog, lalo na ngayong hinahabol namin ang April 4 playdate ng aming movie. Suwerte nang makatulog ako ng four hours in one day. Kahit nga nilalagnat na ako, kayod lang nang kayod habang may pagkakataon, kasi lahat naman ng ganitong opportunities ay lilipas at mawawala din kaya dapat lang na samantalahin ko. Napakahirap sa’kin to do ‘You’re My Boss’ kasi rom-com ito, first time ko ito dahil mas sanay ako sa drama. First time ko rin to work with Toni and our director. I’m learning a lot from both of them, lalo na about timing. Lagi akong nakaka-take 5 or 6 bago ma-satisfy si direk sa acting ko. Iba kasi ang timing sa comedy. Si Toni, very helpful, tinutulungan ako lalo na sa tamang pronunciation ng English lines ko. Noong una, hiyang-hiya ako sa kanya kasi baka husgahan niya agad ako kung gaano ako ka-jologs. But genuine ang pag-welcome niya sa’kin and in a few days lang, napalagay ang loob ko agad sa kanya at naging napakagaan ng samahan namin. Very caring siya pati sa buong staff.”
