SUNSHINE DIZON is so lucky that when she made a comeback in 2013 after four years of lying low when she got married, GMA-7 is giving her one show right after another: “Mundo Mo’y Akin”, “Anna Karenina”, “Villa Quintana”, “Strawberry Lane” and now, “Pari Koy”. “I really can’t complain dahil tuloy-tuloy ang trabaho ko,” she says. “And I’m glad that in ‘Pari Koy’, I’m reunited with Dingdong Dantes. Pero hindi ako ang love interest niya rito, ha. I’m the abused wife of Carlo Gonzales at anak namin si Jillian Ward. Dingdong and I have long been good friends, para kaming magkapatid, dahil nagkasama kami sa ‘Anna Karenina’ which ran from 1996 to 2002, and our love teams with other partners (Antoinette Taus and Polo Ravales), maraming ginawang movies together. We last worked together ten years ago in ‘Encantadia’. Ngayon lang naulit.”
It’s good her husband, Timothy Tan, allows her to go on acting. “Supportive naman siya. Even my in laws. Alam nila how much I love acting. My husband has resigned from his job as a pilot and is now concentrating on the family businesses. Our eldest, Doreen, is now 3 years old and the boy, Anthony, is 2.”
Any plans to have another child? “Kung puede nga lang, kaso caesarean ako, so I have to rest. Also, may pair na kaming boy and girl, so okay na rin sila. As of now, nasasama na namin sila sa pagbibiyahe. Kapag nagkaroon uli ng baby, naku, mahirap na. Also, may three year contract akong pinirmahan sa GMA, e.”
