Eric Quizon Directs Three Sexy Actresses & Three Sexy Actors In His First Teleserye For ABS-CBN, 'Pasion De Amor'

ERIC QUIZON directed a lot of soaps on GMA-7 and TV5. He’s now back with ABS-CBN. “Una akong bumalik as an actor,” he says. “Father ako ni Janella Salvador in ‘OMG’, but my character died na and I’m now directing ‘Pasion de Amor’. This is the first teleserye I’m doing for them, kasi before, mostly ‘MMK’ episodes ang dinirek ko. It was on GMA that I did my first teleseryes ‘Darna’ and ‘Asian Treasures’ with Angel Locsin, then sa TV5 with ‘Babaeng Hampaslupa’, ‘Glamorosa’ and ‘Enchanted Garden’.”

He’s directing three sexy actresses and three sexy actors in “Pasion de Amor”: “Ellen Adarna, Arci Munoz and Coleen Garcia; and Jake Cuenca, Ejay Falcon and Joseph Marco. How are they? “I’m very happy with my cast. They’re all very professional. The girls are very pretty. Given nang magpapa-sexy sila and they’re all very cooperative. This is based on a hit Colombian soap about three sisters and three brothers. It’s a challenge for me to adapt it locally and I’m glad isinama na ako ng ABS sa umpisa lang sa casting, sa auditions. So far, three weeks of advanced episodes na ang naite-tape namin.”

So what happened to their family’s auction of their late dad’s real estate properties? “Okay naman. Naaayos na. Naging private na lang ang auction kasi some of the buyers are really very private. But hindi biro ang ibinabayad naming real estate and inheritance taxes, ha. Madugo talaga. May lumabas na palugi ang benta namin but it’s not true. Lahat ng nasa catalogue, mas mataas pa kaysa sa starting price namin nabenta. Gusto ko ring linawin na hindi kasama rito yung house and lot ni dad and Zsa Zsa sa Marina Bay. I asked them if they want to sell and they said no, they want to keep it.”

Part of the proceeds will be used to put up a Dolphy Museum in a property they have in Tanay. “Parang small resort with bed and breakfast. Lahat ito, we consulted Zsa Zsa and it’s with her approval.”
Zsa Zsa is said to be thinking of tying the knot with current BF Conrad Onglao. Were they consulted about this? “Hindi naman kailangan. She can make her own decisions and she doesn’t need to consult anyone. I’ve met Mr. Onglao and he’s a very nice guy. I’m sure if every magpapakasal sila, they’ll let us know.”
