Alex Gonzaga All Set To Conquer The Big Dome With 'Ag From The East, The Unexpected Concert' On April 25

ALEX GONZAGA is the true multi-media star, not her Ate Toni. She’s hosting on TV in “The Voice”, “ASAP” and soon, acting in “Inday Bote”. She is in a hit movie, “Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin”. Her first single is now out in the market. Her book “Dear Alex, Break na Kami, Paano?” is a certified best seller. And now, she’s having her first solo concert at the Big Dome, “AG From the East, #The Unexpected Concert”. Why that title?

“AG, initials ko,” she says. “Pareho kami ng favorite kong si Ariana Grande, who’s from the West. Ako naman ang from the East, kasi galing akong sa Taytay. May hashtag na the Unexpected kasi ako mismo, hindi ko inex-expect na magkaka-concert ako. When our producer, Joed Serrano, first offered this to me, I said no, twice. I felt it’s too big, too soon. But very persistent siya.

It was a big hit. Nakakatakot pero desidido siya to do it.

Does Alex think she can fill up the Big Dome? “Nakakakaba, pero positive na lang and hope for the best.

Among her guests are her Ate Toni and her friend Maja Salvador. “Yung iba, hindi pa nagko-confirm. Malayo pa naman, April 25, so marami pang puedeng pumayag maging guests ko by that time.”
Why not invite Gov. Vilma Santos with whom she did “I Will Survive” in “ASAP” last Sunday. “Gusto ko nga. Kaya lang, papayag ba siya? Pero sobrang nakakatuwa siya. Very warm.

You can now get your tickets for Alex’s “The Unexpected Concert” at the Araneta Coliseum box office.
