Six New Local Films To Open Simultaneously To Fight Each Other At The Box Office On October 29, Led By Anne Curtis & Angelica Panganiban

A NEW LOCAL film opens every week. Today, it’s “The Trial” from Star Cinema, starring John Lloyd, Gretchen, Richard and Jessy. Next week, October 22, it’s the nerve-wracking horror film from Regal, “Dilim”, starring Kylie Padilla, Rayver Cruz, Rafael Rosell, Joross Gamboa, Ella Cruz, Nathalie Hart, written and directed by Jose Javier Reyes.

On October 29, no less than six films would open simultaneously. First is Anne Curtis’ horror-action flick, “Blood Ransom”, filmed in Hollywood. Then there’s the comedy “Beauty in a Bottle” by Quantum Films, starring Angelica Panganiban, Tom Rodriguez, Assuna de Rossi and Angeline Quinto. And there are the four entries in the FDCP Horror Plus Filmfest: “Bacao” starring Michelle Madrigal and Arnold Reyes, written and directed by Edgardo “Boy” Vinarao; “T’yanak” starring Judy Ann Santos, Solenn Heussaff and Tom Rodriguez, directed by Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes; “Hukluban” starring Krista Miller and Kiko Mattos, directed by Gil Portes; and “Sigaw sa Hatinggabi” starring Regine Angeles, Alvin Anson and Richard Quan, directed by Romy Suzara.

We’re sure they’ll somehow hurt each other at the box office, so may the best movies win.
