Ogie Alcasid On His Twin Jobs As Comedian & Host On Two TV5 Shows

OGIE ALCASID is enjoying himself being the leader of his younger co-stars making people laugh in “Tropa Mo Ko Unli”. “We’re glad that our show has become one of the banner shows of TV5 on weekends,” he says. “We’re told buong pamilya ang nanonood nito and the kid viewers know all our segments, like Battle of the Brainless and Pamhinta 101. I should give credit to all my co-stars, sina Wendell Ramos, Alwyn Uytingco, Edgar Allan Guzman, Gelli de Belen, Tuesday Vargas, Empoy, Long Mejia, Vin Abrenica, Ritz Azul, Eula Caballero, Valeen Montenegro, Caloy Alde and the Artista Academy discoveries. Kwelang-kwela ang Pamhinta 101 about bekis at yung mga nagpapa-macho para hindi sila mahalatang beki. We have good writers at very timely ang kanilang gags kaya natatawa talaga ang audience.”

Ogie is also proving his prowess as a host in “Let’s Ask Pilipinas” that is now fast gaining a lot more viewers in the morning. “Very positive ang feedback dito even abroad,” he says. “Dahil interactive ito, ang daming gustong sumali even among our viewers in foreign countries. We’re now studying how to incorporate all their requests in the show para mapabigyan namin sila.”
