“He set up a dinner at the Eiffel Tower in Paris at doon ko siya sinagot,” she says. “It’s a long courtship. He started even before we did ‘Akin Pa Rin ang Bukas’. We became good friends and from the friendship, doon mas na-develop yung deeper feelings ko for him.”
Both their families approve of the relationship. “He’s very close to my family at isinasama rin niya ako sa lakad ng family nila. We’re like a barkada and I think mas maganda yun. We’re both foodies. We love to eat kaya tuwing magkasama kami, kain kami ng kain and everyday is practically a celebration, kasi we always go out and celebrate when we’re together.”
Lovi is glad to be part of Regal’s entry to the Metro Manila filmfest this December, “Shake Rattle & Roll 15”. “My very first movie was ‘Shake 9’ in 2009, in the ‘Christmas Tree’ episode. I was also in ‘Shake 14’, so I’m happy to be part of ‘Shake 15’. I’m in the ‘Flight 666’ episode, directed by Perci Intalan. The story all happens inside an airplane where the passengers die one by one because of a mysterious entity na ipinanganak sa plane. My boyfriend is Matteo Guidicelli, a doctor. Also in the plane are Baron Geisler as a hijacker, Natalie Hart (the former Princess Snell) as another flight attendant who's the secret girlfriend of baron, Daniel Matsunaga as the male flight attendant, and Khalil Ramos, Yael Yuson, Arlene Muhlach, Kiray Celis, Ryan Bang, Kuya Kim Atienza, IC Mendoza as passengers, with Ria Garcia as a pregnant passenger who gives birth to the mysterious entity during the flight and terrorizes everyone. John Lapus will be in all the episodes of Shake 15 pero dito sa episode namin niya makakatagpo ang kanyang katapat. The other episodes are "Ulam" by Jerrold Tarog with Dennis Trillo and Carla Abellana, and "Ahas” by Dondon Santos with JC de Vera and Erich Gonzales.”
Meantime, Lovi is elated over the positive reviews her performance as Shiela in “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real” is getting. “Nakakatuwa naman dahil kahit maraming naiinis kay Shiela as the second wife, very encouraging ang comments about my acting, lalo na noong matuklasan kong may una na palang asawa si Dingdong Dantes as Anthony in Manila, si Maricel Soriano nga as Millet. Nakarating kasi ko sa bahay nila so I learned the truth. Tapos, nagpunta ko sa wedding anniversary ng parents ni Anthony and I saw him with Millet. Hindi ko kinaya, inatake ko ng epilepsy at sinugod ako sa ospital. Nang makipagkita sa’kin si Anthony, sinampal ko siya. Nakakatuwa ring lagi kaming trending sa Twitter.
