Kapuso Stars Max Collins And Gwen Zamora Bag Lead Roles In International Movies

TWO STARS of the recently concluded afternoon soap, “Innamorata” of GMA-7, are both lucky to have passed international casting calls and are now doing movies for foreign companies, Max Collins and Gwen Zamora. Both of them are under contract with GMA Artist Center.

Max auditioned for a movie to be filmed in Qatar by a Doha-based film company. She qualified and is now shooting the movie on location there.

The movie is titled “Remembering Ada” and co-starring with her are Alden Richards and LJ Reyes, but she’s the only who has scenes shot on location in Qatar. Alden and LJ’s scenes will all be shot here in Manila.

Gwen has already done a suspense-thriller in Indonesia, “The Witness”, two years ago. It did well at the box office in Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia. She auditioned for a new movie and again, she bagged the role. The movie is titled “Valentine”, an action-thriller currently being produced by Skylar Pictures in Jakarta.

Gwen is already there and she has posted photos on her Instagram account showing her doing her own action stunts in the movie. She says she’s missing her boyfriend, Raymond Romualdez, son of Tacloban mayor Alfred Romualdez.

Congratulations to both Max and Gwen and here’s hoping their exposure in these international films will give them more projects both here and abroad.
