Janella Salvador's Life Changed For The Better Because Of 'Be Careful With My Heart'

JANELLA SALVADOR was a total unknown before she was introduced in “Be Careful with My Heart”. Now, everyone knows her as Niknik, the daughter of Sir Chief and this has led to many endorsements. The daughter of singers Jenine Desiderio and Juan Miguel Salvador, Janella is managed by Manny Valera’s DMV Entertainment. She was just 14 when the show started and she won as best new female TV personality. She’s now 16 years old. So how did “Be Careful” change her life?

“Malaki po ang naging pagbabago sa buhay ko dahil sa show,” she says. “When I started, I didn’t know much about the business. Dahil dito, I learned a lot and got to know a lot of people, made new friends. Nakatulong din ito sa family namin kasi single mom ang mommy ko at nahihirapan siya. Now, I help her send my brother to school.”

Janella will perform with Jerome Ponce (who plays her brother in the show) and her ka-love team, Mario Mortel, in the free thanksgiving concert that “Be Careful with My Heart” will stage at the Big Dome on July 25. They will do song and dance numbers in a mashup of popular upbeat songs intended for the young crowd.
