What’s the real score about his going back to TV5 to host “Talentadong Pinoy” again? “I’ve met with them but everything is under negotiation pa. Nothing is final. I was hoping to work with the same people I worked with in the show before, for consistency. But I learned hindi na puede yung mga dati kong kasama ko rito. I tried to talk to the director (Rich Ilustre) but mukhang hindi rin siya available. So we’ll see. Actually, kung may gusto akong ibalik, it’s ‘Picture Picture’. Kasi when moved the show to Sunday, biglang tumaas ang rating. And the marketing people told us na mas loaded ito ng commercials dahil madaling ibenta. And also, we won an award, Certificate For Creative Excellence from the U.S. International Film and Video Festival in Los Angeles. Ito lang ang only winner sa shows ng Entertainment TV, so sana, maibalik pa ito.”
“Ismol Family” will start airing on Sunday after “24 Oras Weekend” and before “Pepito Manaloto”. Aside from Ryan and Carla, it also stars Marc Justine Alvarez as their son, Carmi Martin as Ryan’s cougar mother in law, Bianca Umali as Ryan’s niece, Miguel Tanfelix as Bianca’s friend, Mikael Daez as Ryan’s gay best friend, Kevin Santos as Carmi’s boy toy and Natalia Moon as their blonde housemaid.
GMA’s powerhouse weekend sked on primetime is as follows: Saturday night – “24 Oras Weekend”, “Pepito Manaloto”, “Marian” and “Magpakailanman”. Sunday night – “24 Oras Weekend”, “Vampire ang Daddy Ko” and “Ismol Family”.
