Former Miss Earth Priscilla Meirelles Elated To Be Finalist In 'Celebrity Dance Battle'

IT’S OUR FIRST time to meet former Miss Earth Priscilla Meirelles in person at the taping in Resorts World of “Celebrity Dance Battle” which will have its grand finals tomorrow at 9 PM on TV5. She looks so much better in person. Her beauty truly dazzles and John Estrada is so lucky to have her as his wife. As one of the five finalists, we ask Priscilla if she had any formal training in dance? “None, yung kembot-kembot lang when I join the carnival in Rio,” she says, trying hard to speak also in Tagalog. “Brazilians are good dancers and being a Latina, I’m quite familiar with a lot of dances. Before ‘Celebrity Dance Battle’, I also danced in ‘Shall We Dance’. Ako, I just go with the flow. I challenged myself na kaya ko ito kahit bagong galing lang ako sa panganganak. I’m so proud I made it to the grand finals now.”

Did John give her any advice? “Basta sabi niya, kayang-kaya mo yan. Just give your all, give your best. He’s very supportive.”

Do they intend to have another baby soon? “Huwag muna. We’re enjoying our baby girl pa at ngayon pa lang bumabalik ang dati kong katawan, so later na lang.”

“Celebrity Dance Battle” is hosted by Lucy Torres-Gomez and the Semerad twins, Anthony and David.
