“Nanliligaw siya pero hindi pa kami,” says Eula. “Noong birthday ko, his gift for me was a beautiful necklace and dahil I allowed him na ilagay yun sa leeg ko, lumabas na agad ang balitang nagka-developan kami at kami na raw. The truth is magka-love team lang kami sa show. Okay siyang katrabaho and I appreciate the extra attention he gives me, but as of now, we’re really just friends.”
Daniel is more open about his feelings for Eula. “I do like her very much and we work very well together, so we’ll see what happens and just go with the flow. We get along well. She’s nice to work with. She always helps me with my Tagalog lines lalo na ‘pag sobrang mahirap na sabihin. I ask her about it and tapos, sasabihin niya, ganito o ganyan yan, so I want to thank her for helping me.”
Some folks say he is just using her to gain publicity and to help promote “One of the Boys”. What can he say about this? “I’m not that kind of person. And in all fairness to Juan Direction, we now have our own fans so I’ll never use Eula. Even our show now has its own regular following and I’d like to thank them all for watching ‘One of the Boys’ every Saturday night at 9 on TV5.”
