Carla Abellana Says She's Not Using Ex-Bf Geoff Eigenmann To Promote 'My Destiny'

CARLA ABELLANA laughs of the efforts of some writers to pair her with Tom Rodriguez even off cam. “Hindi naman puedeng pilitin yan dahil lang break na sila ng girlfriend niya at kabi-break ko rin lang,” she says. “I don’t want to expect or assume anything. Also, gustuhin ko mang magka-lovelife, I wouldn’t have the time for it sa dami ng ginagawa ko ngayon. I have a new primetime soap ‘My Destiny’, may Sunday sitcom akong ‘Ismol Family’, and may movies pa kong ginagawa, so walang puwang ang affairs of the heart at this point.”

Was she hurt when Geoff Eigenmann didn’t even bother to greet her when she celebrated her birthday on June 12. “I’m just wondering kung bakit ang mom niya, mga pinsan niya, even stepmom niya, binati ako, but siya, not a word. I’d like us to remain friends sana, but tigilan na natin siya dahil may nagbibintang na ginagamit ko raw siya to promote ‘My Destiny’, ganong sinasagot ko lang naman ang mga tanong ng press sa’kin.”

How is it working with Rhian Ramos as her sister in “My Destiny” that starts airing tonight? “Masaya. We really treat each other as sisters. We’re having fun along with the other members of the cast, like Lorna Tolentino and Al Tantay as our parents, and with our director, Joyce Bernal.”
