Boy Actor David Remo Finally Appears As Sto. Nino In GMAs Drama 'Nino'

GMA-7 is really bent on building up the teen love team of Miguel Tanfelix and Bianca Umali. They’re seen weeknights doing drama in “Nino” and now they’re also in the comedy “Ismol Family” on Sundays.

“Nagpapasalamat kami ni Bianca sa tiwalang ibinibigay ng GMA sa amin and we promise to do our best para mapaganda ang shows they assigned to us,” says Miguel.

Meantime, tonight in “Nino”, the character played by child actor David Remo as Tokayo, the Sto. Niño incarnate, will finally appear. Nino recovers from his accident but he had brain injury so even if he’s now a teener, he still thinks and behaves like an 8-year old boy. His real mother, Katrina Halili as Hannah, returns from staying in the U.S. for 7 years with his brother Renz Valerio as Rafael and their lolo, Dante Rivero as Don Pedro. They all feel bad with the deterioration of their place now filled

with bars and gambling joints operated by Jay Manalo as Lucio. Hannah meets Nino and feels sad about the boy’s being “kulang-kulang”. In an accident, the church is razed by a fire cause by teeners who smoke inside the church. When Nino looks for the image of the Sto. Nino, it’s nowhere to be found. It has become a real boy played by David Remo.
