Vhong Navarro's New Rape Case Doesn't Faze Him And His Lawyer

VHONG NAVARRO is getting another rape case filed against him. A 26-year old woman who acted as a stunt body double for some actresses in “Betty La Fea” in 2009 said Vhong invited her to talk inside his car (SUV) and forced himself on her by touching her genitalia and asking him to do oral sex on him. She chose to keep quiet about it because she was afraid and only found courage to finally speak up now that other women have filed cases against Vhong.

Atty. Alma Mallonga, Vhong’s lawyer, says: “The new complaint for rape against Vhong is not unexpected. We expect more, especially as the DOJ nears resolution of the complaint for the non-bailable crime of serious illegal detention filed by Vhong against Cedric, Deniece, and company. Cedric, et al are getting more desperate. Cedric has just sent me a message through a third person to withdraw as Vhong’s counsel or face a criminal complaint and a disbarment case. I will not withdraw. I say, do your worst. We will not be cowed. Hindi kami matitinag. This has only made us more determined to stay the course. This complaint, and other complaints that we expect to follow, is irrelevant to the crime committed against Vhong.”

Vhong is confident these fictitious rape cases filed against him will not affect the box office take of “Da Possessed” when it opens in theatres on April 19.
