South Korean Beauty Sun Yong Kuk Wins 'Eat Bulaga's' My Foreignay Contest

SOUTH KOREAN Sun Yong Kuk, a Kim Chiu lookalike, was proclaimed the grand winner in the “Eat Bulaga” ‘You’re My Foreignay’ contest last Saturday. The whole presentation was very well staged, like some world class beauty pageant with all the contestants wearing elegant ternos, along with hosts Pia Guanio, Pauleen Luna, Ruby Rodriguez and Isabelle Daza.

Other Koreans who have joined local showbiz before are Sandara Park, Grace Lee and Jinri Park. Son Yung Kuk says she also wants to try local showbiz. A real charmer and the crowd’s favorite, Son got the highest score of 97.80 and won P100,000 cash. Take note that the most likeable contestant in the male counterpart, Foreignoy, is also an Asian, Richard Hwan of Hongkong, and we won’t be surprised if they’re paired with each other and become a love team.

Son has been staying in the country for six years now as a student. Her mom came to support her in person while her dad just greeted her on video. She’s willing to learn how to speak Tagalog more fluently, just like Sandara before her. Let’s see if she’d eventually be more successful than Sandara or Grace or Jinri.
