“Sorry, but I believe that’s not an issue for me to clear up,” she says. “I was not there and it’s not for me to clear up. Whatever happened there is between the people who were there and I refuse to get involved. It’s my birthday and I’d rather speak of happy things and have happy thoughts, so please, I’d rather not answer that.”
But has she talked to her Ate Anne and Sam about what happened? “Yes, but I promised to them that whatever we talked about, hindi ko sasabihin kahit kanino. So that’s it. My relationship with them has not changed at all.”
What about Sam being linked to Julia Barretto? “I don’t know where that comes from and how she got involved in this. Siguro because they’re working together in their soap on ABS-CBN. But whatever you guys want to believe, it’s up to you. This is all part of showbiz and as my sister said, learn the art of deadma. So, heto na yun. Life is short, so why focus on negative things, di ba?”
Julia herself has already denied any involvement with Sam. She said she just looks up to him like an elder brother. Besides, Sam is not even her leading man in the series but Enrique Gil. As for Jasmine, now that she’s back in Manila, she’ll be continuing taping for her own shows, “Jas Mine” and “Spin Nation.”
