    Mav Lozano Of 'star Factor' Now Lead Vocalist Of Cygnet Band

    MAV LOZANO is the son of singer-line producer Elaine Carriedo Lozano who was partof TV5’s Star Factor. He’s now the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the Cygnet Band who specialize on rock-blues-funk music. Cygnet means a young swan and they consider themselves young swans ready to soar freely with their passion for music.

    Mav composes his own songs as a student of The College of Music in UP where he met Filipino-Japanese Hiro Tuazon, who plays lead guitar. Mav and Hiro decide to form a group and invited another friend Josh Tulagan, a UST music student who takes pleasure in playing Jazz and fusion at the age of 16. They got Mack Andres as drummer. The group has been together for almost 8 months now. With the members’ good looks and great talent, Cygnet is ready to soar high! Catch them at 121 Bar along Pasong Tamo Extension on Saturday, March 8, 8pm for their first music video launch and get the chance to listen to all their original compositions and compilation of songs for their first album which will be coming out soon.
