Viva Films Reveals The Cast Of The Movie Version Of The Internet Hit ‘Diary Ng Pangit’

VIVA FILMS reveals the young cast it has chosen for their movie version of the internet sensational novel, “Diary ng Panget”, which has had 12 million hits in Wattpad. This will be topbilled by Nadine Ilustre, who was introduced before as one of the leads in TV5’s version of “Bagets”, as the title roler Eya, the Panget.

Her leading men are Andre Paras as Chad (eldest son of Benjie Paras and Jackie Forster) and James Reid as Cross (winner of a past PBB Teens edition), plus Yassi Pressman as Lori (GMA teen star who starred in the big Metro filmfest flop, “Kaleidoscope World.”)

This will be directed by Andoy Ranay who helmed “When the Love is Gone” for Viva and is now finishing “My Trophy Wife”. Here’s hoping all the 12 million people who have read it on the net will also want to watch its big screen version. This is slated to open in theatres nationwide on April 2.
