BOY ABUNDA did an investigative feature in “Buzz ng Bayan” on Roxanne Cabanero Acosta, the woman who claimed she was raped by Vhong Navarro when she was a candidate in Miss Bikini Philippines 2010. Vhong saw her when she and the other candidates guested in “Showtime”. She said Vhong later fetched her at the hotel where they were all staying, Astoria Plaza in Ortigas Center, raped her then brought her back to their hotel. Vhong talked to a director of the hotel who denied the Miss Bikini Philippines contestants were ever billeted with them. He said there were negotiations but it didn’t push through.
Boy also interviewed Vice Ganda who said Vhong was performing with him in a concert in Island Cove in Cavite on the night she claimed that Vhong raped her. This was confirmed by a woman executive of Island Cove. Obviously, Vhong cannot be in two places at the same time, unless he has a doppelganger.
