Aiza Seguerra Openly Proposes Marriage To Beauty Queen-Actress Liza Dino In Front Of Theatre Audience

AIZA SEGUERRA, officially proposed to her girlfriend, beauty queen-actress Liza Dino last Friday, Feb. 7. This happened at the Teatro Hermogenes Ylagan in UP Diliman during the staging of George De Jesus' play, “Kung Paano Maghihiwalay”, where Liza performs. Even the audience was surprised when Aiza suddenly joined the play, knelt down in front of Liza and gave her a diamond-studded ring, which Liza accepted crying. Liza said she can’t believe it and is overflowing with happiness.

Aiza is a former child actress turned best-selling singer who now acts in films (she just won best supporting actress award for “My Little Bossings”), TV (“Please Be Careful with My Heart”) and stage (“Avenue Q”, “Aladdin”).

Liza is a former beauty queen who represented the Philippines in the Miss Tourism International pageant in 2001. She’s the daughter of famous Barangay Captain Martin Dino who figured in the Leo Echagarray case some years ago. She has appeared in movies starting in “Rome and Juliet” and won the Metro Filmfest New Wave best actress award for her performance in the indie film "In Nomine Matris", where she played a flamenco dancer. She used to work as a chef in Los Angeles and has been separated from her husband who is now based in the U.S. They have a five-year old daughter who now lives with Liza. Since there’s no same sex marriage in our country, we suppose Aiza and Liza will have their wedding abroad.
