Rafael Rosell Almost Became A Woman-Hater

RAFAEL ROSELL is one lucky guy. In “The Borrowed Wife” that stars airing tomorrow afternoon, he plays husband to Camille Prats who still has an affair with Pauleen Luna. “Pinag-aagawan nila ako,” he says. “Pero hanggang sa TV lang yun kasi in real life wala namang nag-aagawan sa akin.”

He says he’s been celibate for a over a year now. “I had a traumatic experience with my last girlfriend so nasaktan ako and avoided women for a while. Muntik na ko maging woman-hater. But that helped me a lot kasi nakapag-isip-isip ako about life. Nag-focus lang ako sa trabaho and how to improve myself. Nag-research ako about a lot of things, lalo na about healthy eating. As of now, okay na ko and I am back to dating again.”

He’s grateful that the actors he work with in “The Borrowed Wife” are all excellent performers. “Pati sina TJ Trinidad, Yayo Aguila, Caridad Sanchez, puro mahuhusay, so I make sure I have to level up sa kahusayan nila para di ako mapag-iwanan.”
