“Nakakatuwa, he now sings and dances in ‘ASAP’,” he says. “Noong una, parang ayaw ko. But now, I’m honored. He reminds me of my late dad, Daboy. He can be a bigger star than me. I love him and I find his acting convincing. He has great potential.”
He’s glad to be back on camera in “Rhodora X” where he plays Nico, the owner of an ancestral home who helps Yasmien Kurdi as Angela when she is oppressed by her own sister, Jennylyn Mercado as Rhodora/Roxanne. “I will help her get her life back on track and support her in her fight against her own sister and Mark Herras as Joaquin.”
How does he feel that his own mother, Alma Moreno, is said to have separated with her last husband, Marawi Mayor Fahad Salic? “Hindi pa kami nakakapag-usap, sana hindi totoo. Pero alam na naman natin na ang nanay ko, ilang beses ng nasaktan, naapi. Hopeless romantic kasi yun but I think after so many times that it happened, tumigas na rin siya. She has become tough. So kung may pinadaraanan man siya ngayon, alam ko, kakayanin niya.”
