Marian Rivera's 'Carmela' Pilot Week To Be Shown After 'Eat Bulaga' On Saturday

MARIAN RIVERA is happy over the very positive feedback her new soap, “Carmela”, got from viewers. “Nakakatuwa kasi lahat nagsasabing nagandahan sila sa start ng story ng ‘Carmela’,” she says. “Pati nga si Dingdong (Dantes, her boyfriend), he also congratulated me dahil nanood din ang family nila and they found the story very absorbing.”

But there are those who missed the pilot week so GMA-7 decided to replay the starting episodes on a marathon telecast this Saturday afternoon after “Eat Bulaga”. Dubbed as “Ang Pinagmulan ni Carmela”, it will show how Carmela’s mom, Agot Isidro, met her dad, the deaf mute Ricky Davao, how they got married, giving birth to Carmela. Their happy family is disrupted by the machinations of the scheming Roi Vinzon, husband of Laurice Guillen, an influential doctor in their town. Roi secretly covets Agot and causes the tragic death of Ricky. The young Carmela sees how Roi oppresses her mom and vows to take revenge on him someday.

Then tomorrow, Sunday, the cast led by Marian and Alden Richards will have a special free mall show at the new Fisher Mall on the corner of Quezon Ave. and Roosevelt Ave. in QC at 5 PM. Don’t miss to see your fave stars in person.
