Other Christmas songs composed by Lito in the album are “Araw-Araw ay Pasko”, “Namamasko Po”, “Unang Pasko”, plus a reprise of their past hit, “Boom Tarat Tarat”. Willie dedicates the songs to the victims of Typhoon Yolanda and he’ll donate the proceeds from the album to them.
“This Sunday, I will do a show in Tacloban,” he says. “Para itong ‘Wowowee’ with games, prizes and musical numbers only for the people of Tacloban. It’s going to be a big event for them kaya sana, abangan nila kami sa Tacloban this weekend.”
So when is he going to be seen again on TV? “Mapapanood ako sa ‘Startalk’ new year episode. I was invited and I agreed to be interviewed by Joey de Leon. Pero yung bagong regular show, I haven’t talked to any station yet. Two months pa lang naman ang vacation ko. Kung magkaroon man ng new negotiations, by next year na. Naging busy ako dito sa Wil Tower Mall ko. Marami ng bukas na stores and restaurants. Susunod ang isang VIP theatre, then a new wing, tapos yung residences na. Pero marami kaming balak ng production staff ko for the new year. Sa ngayon, busy rin ako with the hotel na pinagagawa ko on top of a hill sa Tagaytay. Baka doon ako mag-Christmas.”
How about his lovelife? “Wala, no lovelife. Okay naman ang buhay kahit nag-iisa lang ako. Naghahanap pa rin ako ng makakasama ko.”
How come there are talks he’d return to ABS? “Wala, hindi naman ako kinakausap. Pero kung babalik talaga ako sa ABS, gusto ko ‘Wowowee’ uli. Kung nagkamali ako, willing akong magpakumbaba, humingi ng tawad. Pasensiya na lang, tao lang ako. Kundi naman ako mapapatawad, okay rin lang.”
What’s his Christmas wish? “Sana magmahalan na lang tayong lahat. Gusto ko, lahat, maging masaya. Maging positive na lang tayo.”
