TV5 airs The Mega and The Songwriter Christmas Special this Sunday

Stars and artists of the Kapatid network will once again unite for a night of songs and pure entertainment as The Mega and The Songwriter airs a two-part Christmas Special starting this Sunday, December 15.

Bound to make viewers swoon are TV5 Primetime actors Derek Ramsay and Martin Escudero as they serenade the beautiful Kapatid drama princess Ritz Azul. Meanwhile, the News and Information team led by News5 Chief Luchi Cruz Valdes together with Cheryl Cosim, Grace Lee, Cheri Mercado, Shawn Yao and Tulfo brothers Ben, Raffy and Erwin will showcase their singing prowess as they all jam with both Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Mr. Songwriter Ogie Alcasid.

Not to be missed is the rare chance of seeing the Smart Gilas team proving that they can shine both on the basketball hardcourt and onstage as they sing along with the Megastar herself. Adding laughter to a night of pure entertainment is the wacky cast of Tropa Mo Ko Unli. Renowned singer-composer Noel Cabangon will also render some of his songs along with the boy band 5AZI1, quintet singers from Bulacan, AcapellaGO and young all-girl jazz trio Baihana.

This Christmas Special will be made more magical as musical genius David Pomeranz sings some of his songs and performs a special number with Ogie and Sharon. Capping this night of festivity will be the special participation of the one and only Superstar, Ms. Nora Aunor.

The Mega and The Songwriter Christmas Special airs December 15 and 22, 9pm on TV5.
