Rodjun Cruz Finds His Place In The Sun Under GMA Network

RODJUN CRUZ is older than his brother Rayver but there's no doubt Rayver is more popular than him. Despite this, he says there's no sibling rivalry at all between them. "Laging may nagtatanong sa'kin niyan and always, my answer is there's no rivalry at all kasi we are very supportive of each other," he says. "I'm happy when he achieves something, like when he won best actor sa Cinema One. Magaling naman siya so I'm proud of him. Hindi naman nawawala ang bonding namin as brothers at Kuya pa rin ang tingin niya sa'kin."

He has done projects with ABS and TV5, but he's happier now with the way his career is going since he transferred to GMA-7. His exposure in "My Husband's Lover" definitely boosted his career.

"Happy talaga ko sa GMA kasi sunod-sunod ang projects ko. I've also appeared in their other shows like 'Wagas' and 'Magpakailanman'. Tapos, napasama pa ako sa 'Sunday All Stars' at ngayon, I was added to the cast of 'Akin Pa Rin ang Bukas' as Cyrus Dominguez, a detective who will be helping Lovi Poe as Lovelia. Challenging ito for me after my gay character in 'My Husband's Lover' at nakakatuwa rin kasi kasama ko hindi lang si Lovi but also Cesar Montano na isang premyadong actor at director. And to think Direk Laurice Guillen pa ang director namin kaya I'm learning so much from her at lalong nahahasa ang acting ko. So I can really consider myself very lucky na napasali ako sa soap na ito."

This week, Rodjun will help Lovi in solving the mystery of her father's death, which was engineered by Charee Pineda as Agatha. Everyone is surprised when Lovi shows up at the baptism of Charee's daughter. She pretends to have selective memory loss so that Charee will not suspect that she's back to investigate the death of her dad Roel. Charee's baby, Roel Jr., undergoes a DNA test and it's proven that he's really the son of Roel and Lovi is disappointed as she thought it's the son of Rocco Nacino as Jerry.

The truth is it's really Rocco's son, but the result of the DNA test was just manipulated to show that it's Roel's baby. Lovi makes Charee jealous by being sweet to Rocco, making Cesar as Conrad also quite jealous. Lovi successfully launches her own jewellery collection, The Black Metamorphosis. Charee makes fun of Lovi saying she's just the daughter of a housemaid, Emma (Ina Feleo). Lovi slaps Charee very hard and the latter is astounded by the violence of the formerly meek Lovi's retaliation.
