Lauren Young Hoping Sister Megan Will Be Home For Christmas

LAUREN YOUNG is hoping her sister Miss World 2013 Megan Young will stay around to spend the Christmas holidays with their family. "She came home to help in the fund-raising and rehabilitation para sa mga biktima ng Typhoon Yolanda," she says. "Every year, we're together as a family so we hope the tradition won't be broken this year ngayong Miss World na siya. We just stay home and spend Christmas together all day, exchanging gifts, preparing lunch and dinner together and playing board games."

What would be her own Christmas wish? "For myself, nothing really. Kasi it was given na, the new movie I'm doing with Richard Gutierrez, 'Overtime'. I was so happy when they chose me to be his leading lady."

So how is it working with Richard? "Masaya kasi he's so professional, very easy to work with. But it's also hard and physically draining kasi action movie ito and I'm required to do a lot of running around. I've done mostly indie films, last was 'Puti' for CineFilipino. 'Overtime' is my first mainstream movie so I'm really excited about it. I'm really thankful to GMA for giving me so many projects. After 'Mundo Mo'y Akin' and 'Dormitoryo' on TV, now here I am doing a movie for GMA Films naman."
