RICHARD GUTIERREZ is all set to start shooting his new movie for GMA Films, tentatively titled “Overtime”. This is an action-thriller to be directed by a new director and they will shoot four times a week. It’s slated to be GMA Films first offering for 2014. After the auditions held for the movie, it was decided that Richard will get a new and young leading lady, Lauren Young, the sister of Miss World Megan Young whose career really bloomed when she decided to move to GMA.
So why was Lauren chosen for the film? “Sa lahat ng mga naka-audition ni Chard for the movie, sila ang may pinakatamang chemistry for their respective roles,” a GMA exec tells us. “We talked to her and explained the role kasi she’d be required to do some love scenes with Chard. Pumayag naman siya as she knows this will be a big break for her.”
