Janine Gutierrez Happy Over Good Feedback She's Getting For 'Villa Quintana'

JANINE GUTIERREZ is elated that the first soap where she plays the female lead, "Villa Quintana", is doing very well in the ratings game. More and more viewers are tuning in to GMA-7 weekdays after "Eat Bulaga" to follow the star-crossed love story of Janine and Elmo Magalona. And most of them say her acting is quite good. Even her own, Jackie Lou Blanco, sister of her dad Ramon Christopher, is quite impressed with her performance.

"Elmo and I really made a vow na gagawin naman lahat ng aming makakaya to make sure the show will please viewers at natutuwa naman kami kasi maganda ang feedback dito," she says.

Janine is also happy to meet her mom Lotlot de Leon's biological dad, Mr. Donald Olson, who recently visited them from the U.S.A. "It was really a nice reunion for our whole family," she says. "First time namin siyang na-meet ng mga kapatid ko at comfortable kami agad lahat sa isa't isa. Siguro dahil sa tinatawag na lukso ng dugo. Nagkataong birthday rin kasi noon ng brother kong si Diego at nag-attend din ang adoptive dad ni Mama and his wife (Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong) kaya one big happy family kami na masaya ang lahat."

We heard even the new guy in Lotlot's life, a Lebanese businessman named Fred Elsourri (we're not sure if we got the spelling right), was there and was also introduced to her dad. Janine and her siblings have warmly accepted the guy.

"Kung masaya ba si Mommy sa kanya, we're just here to support them," she adds. "Even our dad is happy for her. Even if they're now separated, we can feel that they're still care for each other and still wish the best for one another."
