Lovi Poe's Socially Relevant Drama, 'Titser', Ends This Sunday Night

LOVI POE’s “Titser” on GMA News TV is ending tonight so she can now concentrate fully on her weeknights soap on GMA-7, “Akin Pa Rin ang Bukas”. “My journey in ‘Titser’ as Michelle is about to end,” she has. “She has really travelled a long and difficult journey from high school girl to domestic helper to college scholar to working student to substitute teacher in the course of the series. For the grand finale, Michelle attempts to fulfill her biggest dream. She and her best friend Rosa - now a successful entrepreneur played by Mara Lopez - decide to put up an elementary school in the mountains, so the next generation of San Simeon barrio children will no longer have to cross rivers and walk for miles to get to school.”

But Michelle is resisted by barrio parents who do not believe in her vision for their children's schooling. A former employer, Mrs. Reyes, salso takes a claim on the land on which the new school is built. Will Michelle succeed in becoming a full fledged teacher and school administrator?
