Dina Bonnevie Gets Confronted In Public By TV Viewers Who Find Her So Mean

DINA BONNEVIE looked bloated the last time we saw her in the movie “Flames of Love”. At the presscon of ABS-CBN’s “Bukas na Lang Kita Mamahalin” that starts airing tonight, she looks so much slimmer. So what did she do to get rid of her excess weight?

“My doctor detoxified me from all the steroids I’ve been taking for my asthma,” she says. “He gave me a better medicine to fight the histamines in my body. Tapos, ayun, I work out in the gym and I watch what I eat.”

So she doesn’t eat at Victorino’s, the resto near Timog Ave. that serves the best bagnet which she and her husband, Ilocos Sur Vice Gov. DV (for Deogracias Victor) Savellano, own? “Naku, hindi nga ako nakakakain noon. I just eat salad there, and soup.”

She plays a very mean character in “Bukas Na Lang” and in one scene, she even pushes Dawn Zulueta into the swimming pool. “Worried na nga ako. Kasi when I played a similar villain role in ‘May Bukas Pa’, nasa mall, bigla na lang akong hinampas ng isang matanda. Inaapi ko raw kasi si Santino. Sa airport, the guard reprimanded me for the same reason. They don’t realize I’m just a playing a role. Kapag sa TV, they think ang bad bad mo na talaga. So I told our directors, Jerome Pobocan and Trina Dayrit, wag nyo naman ako gawin masyadong evil dito sa ‘Bukas na Lang’ at baka mahampas na naman ako. Ayokong may papatayin akong tao. Pag kontrabida ka kasi, talagang kakabit ka ng kasungitan at katarayan at yun ang tumatatak sa tao.”
