Sheena Halili Says She's Not Bitter After Break Up With Rocco Nacino

SHEENA HALILI used to be known as the Pambansang Best Friend as she’s always playing the role of the leading lady’s best friend in the TV shows and films she did. Now, she finally plays a lead role as the mom of new tot star David Remo in “Pinoy Henyo”, with Luis Alandy as her leading man.

“I’m praying hard na maging hit sana ang show namin para naman hindi masayang ang pagbibigay ng GMA-7 sa akin ng break in doing a lead role,” she says. “I’m comfortable playing the mother of a little boy kasi 26 na ako. If I got married early, puede ko na talaga siya maging anak. Iniisip ko ring dress rehearsal ito for me para kapag nagkaroon na ko talaga ng tunay kong anak, more or less, I already know what to do.”

What can she say to the observations of some folks that she is bitter over Rocco Nacino’s breaking up with her? “I don’t think bitter ako. Why should I be? Hindi naman ako naging man-hater dahil doon. Ang daming lalaki diyan, di ba? Hindi ka naman siguro mauubusan. I’m sure the right guy will come along, in God’s own time. Dapat, matuto kang maghintay. At saka sa nangyari, iniisip ko, it’s your loss, not mine. Move on na tayo. Useless na puro regrets ka na lang. Ngayon pa ba ko malulungkot? E, ang daming blessings na dumarating sa’kin like ‘Binoy Henyo’ that starts airing this Monday before ’24 Oras’. Let’s just be thankful for the blessings.”
