“We’re okay. Silang naging first family ko when I joined showbiz. We do have some disagreements but nare-resolve naman yun nang maayos. My contract with them is until 2016. Tigilan na nga yang mga intrigang yan.”
He’d rather concentrate on the promo of “With a Smile”. He and Andrea Torres were successfully launched as a love team in “Sana ay Ikaw Na Nga”. There were just the two of them in that show. What can he say now that Christian Bautista is added and “With a Smile” becomes a love triangle?
“Siguro management thinks mas magiging intriguing for viewers kung love triangle ang story. I don’t know.”
What is his edge over Christian? “My edge is I’m 25, he’s 31. Siya yung tall, dark and handsome. Ako yung bring home to mama. But we get along fine. Magaling siyang actor. Siyang may edge. He sings. Ako, hindi. But enjoy kaming lahat sa set.”
So how is it working with Andrea again? “Definitely, mas at home na kami sa isa’t isa. With this second team up namin, mas lumalim din ang friendship namin. Mas nabibiro ko na siya and I tell her lots of people tell me maganda ang chemistry namin on screen.”
