Guy And Pip Fans Rejoice! New Nora-Tirso Movie Starts Shooting Today!

DIEHARD GUY and Pip fans should rejoice now that, after so many delays, their favorite love team will finally be shooting their reunion movie for television, “When I Fall in Love”, this weekend. Produced by TV5, this is directed by Joel Lamangan. Line producer Joann Banaga says it would be shot with high definition cameras, like a real movie, and if it would turn out to be really good, then they might release it first commercially in mall theatres. Supporting Nora Aunor and Tirso Cruz III as their children in the movie are Nadine Samonte and Artista Academy recruit Akihiro Blanco. The story is loosely based on the hit Nicholas Sparks’ novel turned movie, “The Notebook”, about alzheimer’s disease. But unlike in the movie where it’s the wife who had the dementia, this time, it’s Tirso who’ll be forgetting everything about his past and Ate Guy will be the dutiful and patient wife who will not forsake him but take good care of him until the very end. “When I Fall in Love” will be the first of TV5’s new program that will produce original local movies for television. Next in line are movie to be directed by Mac Alejandre, Eric Quizon and Mike Tuviera.
