AURORA CONG. Sonny Angara is jubilant that no less than 3 influential ladies are endorsing his senatorial candidacy: Mother Lily Monteverde, Kris Aquino and Sen. Miriam Santiago. With them backing him up, how can he go wrong? At the lunch hosted by Mother Lily for him, his dad, Sen. Ed Angara, was also there to support him. We asked Sen. Ed if Sonny is his favorite son.
“Ang favorite ko, yung dalawang apo kong anak ni Sonny and his wife Tootsie,” he says. “Kasi puede ko pa silang isama kahit saan ako magpunta. E, ang mga anak ko, mga independent na sila kaya di ko na maisama, kaya yung mga apo ko na lang.”
Sen. Ed is confident that Sonny will continue his legacy in the senate, especially in striving to give free education to our youth.
