Philippine Volcanoes endorses Fila

MEMBERS OF The Philippine Volcanoes of the National Rugby Team were presented to the press as the new endorsers of Fila, one of the largest sportswear companies worldwide established in 1911 by the Fila Brothers in Piedmont, Italy. The team captain is Michael Letts, Fil-Australian, 30 years old. Also in the team is his younger brother, Jake Letts, 25. There’s another team of brothers, Fil-British but grew up in Australia, Matt, 25, and Ben Saunders , 20.

The other members are Gareth “Gaz” Holgate, 25, Fil-British; Patrice Olivier, 23, Fil-French; Harry Morris, 28, Fil-British; Justine Coveney, 27, Fil-Australian; and Alex Aronson, 20, Fil-American. They all have dual citizenship, carrying Philippine passports. They’re also all good-looking but the ones who are movie-star handsome are the Saunders (both potential heartthrobs), Gareth, Alex, Jake, Harry, Patrice (the tallest among them) and Andrew, who has tried showbiz before and is 1st runnerup to Mr. World last year.

Asked who is their showbiz crush, Michael, Jake, Patrice and Justine all said it’s Solenn Heussaff while Gareth said it’s Rhian Ramos. The others say they’re not familiar with local celebs but they all agree that Filipinas are very attractive and beautiful. Andrew won’t name names as he says he’s already taken.

As Fila endorsers, they’ll wear uniforms marked Fila as they bring the Philippine flag to the 2013 Rugby World Cup Series in Moscow by the last week of June. This is the first time our country will be represented there and Fila Philippines is giving them full support in this era of Fila-Pinas.
