It’s said her mom is the reason they broke up. “Hindi naman, but siempre, expected lang na very protective sa’kin ang mommy ko kasi only girl ako, bunso pa. But she can see naman happy ako with Enzo.”
What’s the public reaction to her role as the ugly Marilyn in “Mundo Mo’y Akin”? “Ayun, sa Twitter, may foreigners na nagtatanong about my pictures na naka-prosthetic ako: ‘Yuck, what face is that? Is she a monkey?’ Pinagtatanggol naman ako ng ibang fans, saying I’m an actress in the Philippines who’s just portraying a role.”
Will she still become beautiful in “Mundo Mo’y Akin”? “I don’t know yet. But Jaclyn Jose as Donya Charito is fond of me at may spa-clinic na sila so baka pagandahin niya ako roon. But kahit ugly ako, sina Marc Acueza and Sef Cadayona still fall in love with me. In the episodes to come, mabubunyag nang ako talaga ang anak nina Angelika de la Cruz and Gabby Eigenmann, but Gabby can’t accept me kasi ayaw niya talaga sa mga pangit. Angelika naman as Giselle meets the doctor who operated on her face para gumanda siya when she was still the ugly Rodora. When her father died, pinagtapat niya sa’min ni Sunshine Dizon as Perlita na Giselle and Rodora are actually the same person at siya yun.”
