‘SURVIVOR PHILIPPINES’ first winner JC Tiuseco has all the qualities of a leading man so we don’t know why GMA has not given him a lead role in a daily soap so far. But at least, he now plays lead in the episode on GMANC’s “Wagas” tonight, opposite comedian Maey Bautista. Shot in Boracay and based on the true story of a couple named Sherlyn and Joshua, Sherlyn is a broadcast communication graduate from a top university in Manila but accepts an offer to work as a make-up artist in Boracay where she hopes to find her ideal man – a foreigner. True enough, Sherlyn meets the man who makes her happy. But the man is the total opposite of what she wants in a husband as Joshua is a local resident working as a construction worker! See how love blooms unexpectedly between the overweight Sherlyn and the hunky Joshua in “Wagas: Mga Totoong Kuwento ng Pag-ibig” tonight, 7pm on GMA News TV Channel 11.
