Eugene Domingo Has A New Indie Film, 'Instant Mom', After Hit 'Babae Sa Septic Tank'

EUGENE DOMINGO scored one of her biggest box office and critical hits in Cinemalaya 2011 with “Babae sa Septic Tank”. Uge is glad to have another entry in this year’s Cinemalaya, “Instant Mom”, the directorial debut of production designer Leo Abaya (who won awards for “Jose Rizal”). Based on a story by Chris Martinez, Leo wrote the full script about a wardrobe mistress in TV commercials who pretends that she is pregnant to make her Japanese boyfriend stay, a role being offered to Japanese actor Jackie Woo. Co-producing it are Atty. Joji Alonso of Quantum Films and Kris Aquino.

On TV, Uge is also busy hosting “Celebrity Bluff” and the cooking show “Del Monte Kitchenomics” where she’s paired with Chef Dino Ferrari. This week, Uge and Chef Dino go on a cooking adventure in Tagaytay to prepare a different kind of bulalo called “Red Bulalo” as it is made with Del Monte Tomato Sauce. This dish is a must try the family will surely love and enjoy because of the richness, thickness and “mas malinamnam” taste of bulalo. “Del Monte Kitchenomics” is aired on GMA-7 today, Wednesday, and on Saturday before “Eat Bulaga” and Sunday at 10:30am.
