Zsa Zsa Padilla Still Misses Dolphy, Will Spend Valentine With Kris Aquino

ZSA ZSA PADILLA looks so lovely at the presscon of ASAP for its 18th anniversary. She was even the one who approached us to greet us while we were on our way to the buffet table. We tell her she’s so busy. She has a new soap, “Juan de la Cruz”, where she plays the queen of aswangs with Albert Martinez as the king. She’s also in the new movie of Coco Martin, “A Moment in Time”. We’re sure being busy helps her get over her grieving with the loss of her “Lovey” Dolphy.

“I still talk to him up to now,” she says. “I tell him my worries and I ask him to intercede and help guide me in raising our kids. We were together for 23 years and I still miss coming home to him after a busy day at work.”

For sure, she’ll miss him on Valentine’s Day. “Oo naman. But my friend Krissy (Aquino) will help me kasi we’ll be together on that day, her birthday. We’ll go to the beach. But it’s really nice to be acting again. My last soap was ‘Budoy’ pa, almost a year ago na. In ‘A Moment in Time’ I just play a special role na hindi ko puedeng i-reveal kung ano kasi I’m the one who provides the twist in the story.”

At the ASAP presscon, she sang “Time After Time” with daughter Zia who really has great vocal pipes but still needs to lose a bit of weight to be as sexy as the Divine Diva. Nyoy Volante did the opening number, followed by Martin Nievera with Sessionistas Juris, Princess and “X Factor” winner KZ Tandingan. Also present were Gary V, Richard Poon, Khalil Ramos and Georcelle Dapat with the G Force. ASAP started in 1995 as replacement of “Sanglinggo nAPO Sila” with Martin, Pop Fernandez, Ariel Rivera and Dayanara Torres as original hosts. Martin is the only who left. The other hosts joined the show later, with Zsa Zsa replacing Dayanara. Pops and Ariel are invited to join the anniversary celebration tomorrow, which will also be a reunion of The Hunks Piolo Pascual, Diether Ocampo, Jericho Rosales, Carlos Agassi and Bernard Palanca. Also attending the show are members of the Streetboys, Universal Motion Dancers, Manoeuvres, plus Vina Morales, Jed Msdela, Sarah Geronimo, Vhong Navarro, KC Concepcion, Shaina Magdayao, Maja Salvador, Gerald Anderson, and so many more big stars in spectacular production numbers.
